Small Potato Curry
Ingredients
- Small Potatoes - 1/2 kg
- Curd - 1 cup
- Big Onions - 2
- Elaichi - 2
- Salt
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Sugar - 1 tsp
- Cinnamon - a small bark
- Cloves - 2
- Garlic - 5 flakes
- Coriander leaves - 1 bunch
- Big onion - 1
Method
- Boil potatoes. Peel skin and keep aside.
- Chop 2 onions very finely.
- Grind together garlic, coriander leaves, 1 onion, cloves and cinnamon.
- Heat Vanaspathi in a pan and add elaichi. When the raw smell goes
add chopped onions. Fry till ghee separates from it.
- Now add the ground paste and fry till the ghee separates from it.
- Add the cup of curd,salt,sugar and turmeric powder to this.
- When the water content is lost add potatoes. Fry till dry.
- Garnish with coriander leaves
Serve hot with Chapatis. |
