As a Software Engineer the responsibilities for this project included:
Involved in application Development of two Modules P.O Mail and GHA Export.
Maintenance and Support of other Modules like Stock, Cargo Flown and TACT Rates and General Functions.
Responsibilities for the Development:
Preparing User-Requirements Document (URD)
High Level Design of the Modules and preparing Design Document (TSD). Participated in Design Reviews

Goods Inwards System (GIS) is an integrated Module, which covers the activities of Stores, Purchase and Goods Inwards Functions of a Manufacturing Organisation. This Module has provisions to capture Supplier Details (Vendors) required for the Purchase Department. It facilitates Stores to check the stock of the Raw Materials used and System automatically places Purchase Requisitions to the Purchase Department. Purchase Department can place Purchase-Orders and keep track of the Work-orders given to the Vendors. When the raw material is received, corresponding Stock is updated.
