Description:
MS-India Java Testing is for checking the functionality of the byte converter tool being developed by Microsoft under their .NET Framework, which is basically Java User Migration Path (JUMP) targeted on the users of Microsoft product VJ++. This project involves testing of applications developed in-house and those freely/publicly available and reporting the bugs when various builds of the tool are shipped. The project also involves conducting Performance Bench Mark Tests on this tool. The method of testing is "black-box" testing. A regression bucket is created to revisit the earlier reported bugs based on improvements/bug fixing done by the client. The results of testing work were reported to the client through weekly status report indicating the applications tested and output/errors obtained. The logging and tracking of bugs is done through RAID tool using the client machine as Terminal Service Client.

Description:
Nokia Artus Profile Directory is a centralized register for non-voice related customer profile information. The profile information can be retrieved and utilized by different Mobile Internet Servers including the WAP G/W Nokia Artus Messaging Platform.
NAP consists of:

A subscriber has the provision to create new profiles and edit his profiles. The subscriber can also barr himself from particular services based on his requirement. All this comes under self - provisioning wherein the user can manage things by himself. NAP has an Administration Module wherein the Administrator can create/edit/barr subscriber, his profiles and the services attached to him. NAP also consists of a Mass Load Interface. MLI is used to feed the already existing data into the database. The input to the server can be a WAP request or an html request. This request is converted to XML for data communication via a common format.
