Annealed Spring Steel Strip
Composition: C: 0.5 - 0.60%
Mn: 0.5 - 0.90%
Si: 0.35% Max
S&P: 0.04% Max

Normally this grade is stocked in Annealed condition with 180 HV Max Hardness.
Strips can also be supplied in different temper in range of 200 – 350 HV on request, please check for Minimum economic batch, quantity & lead time.

These strips are available in stock from thickness ranging from 4.0 to 0.25 mm in widths of 250 - 350 mm, this can be slitted, decoiled and levelled as per the customer's request.

This grade is similar to following grades.

CK 60 (DIN)
EN - 9 / CS 50 (BS)
MC - 12
JIS - S 50C & S 55C / Sup9
55C6 of IS 2507 of 1975
These strips are supplied in bright finish & Sheared Edges suitable for bending & forming (refer bend test chart)

And then Heat treated for required Hardness.

This strip is widely used for making Springs, Washers, Spacers, Clips, Pins, insert etc.
