Ridge Gourd Chutney 

Ingredients 

  • 1 med. size Ridge gourd 
  • 1 tbsp. Chana dal
  • 1 tbsp.Urad dal 4 -5 green chillies
  • Ginger
  • Curry Leaves
  • Coriander leaves
  • Salt
  • Tamarind
  • Jaggery 
  • 1 tbsp. of grated coconut
  • Oil
Method 
  • Heat Oil, add mustard seeds, after it splutters, add Chana dal and Urad Dal. 
  • Once they are done, add slit green chillies, ginger, both the leaves and the cut ridge gourd pieces. 
  • Fry till done and grind in the mixie with salt, tamarind and coconut till the required consistency. 
Serve with rice, Chapatis, Idlis and Dosas.
