Spinach Friedrice  

Ingredients 

  • 2 cups Basmati Rice
  • 2 tsp Butter
  • 5 cloves
  • 4 cardmom
  • 1" cinnamon
  • 15 cashew 
  • 1 medium onion 
  • 4 green chilli
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 100 gms frozen spinach or fresh spinach
  • 3 cups water
  • Salt 
Method 
  • In a pressure cooker heat butter put in the cloves, cardmom, cinnamon. 
  • Once they start spluttering add onions, chilli and ginger garlic paste. 
  • Fry till onion is light brown. 
  • Add spinach, rice fry it for 2 minutes than add salt and water. 
  • Take off the heat after 3 whistles. 
Serve hot with Raita or any Gravy curry.
