Leftover Dal Pancakes 

Ingredients 

  • LeftOver Dal
  • 1/2 cup each of Wheat flour, Rice flour, Gram flour
  • A clove of garlic ( grated or finely cut)
  • 2 green chillies ( finely cut)
  • Asaefotida, 
  • Turmeric powder 
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 
Method 
  • Add all the igredients including 1/2 tsp. oil together. 
  • For deep frying, roll into small puris and deep fry in kadai.
  • For shallow frying, add water if necessary so as to make the mixture like pancakes.
  • Put a little oil on a griddle and spread 2 tblspns ( or as appropriate) of the mixture. 
  • Turn and add 2-3 drops of oil at the sides.
Serve with Ketchup or cocnut chutney or pickle.
